Summary: Standing under the pressure of folding!
Dare To Be: Bold
How can I exercise a BOLD faith? How can I stand when others cave in to pressure?
1. We have to Believe what we claim to!
"I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed
and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have
entrusted to Him until that day." (2 Timothy 1:12 NASB)
"My purpose in writing is simply this: that you who believe in God’s Son will know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you have eternal life, the reality and not the illusion. And how bold and free we then become in his presence, freely asking
according to his will, sure that He’s listening. And if were
confident that He’s listening, we know that what we’ve asked for is as good as ours." (1 John 5:13-15 The Message
2. We have to walk in Obedience!
(Leviticus 26:1-13)
"But if you obey him and do everything I tell you,
I’ll be an enemy to your enemies, I’ll fight those who fight you."
(Exodus 23:22 The Message)
3. We have to Long for His acceptance!
"You will be hated by all because of My name,
but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved."
(Matthew 10:21 NASB)
4. We have to remember our Deliverer is coming!
"My loving-kindness and my fortress,
My stronghold and my deliverer,
My shield and He in whom I take refuge,
Who subdues my people under me."
(Psalm 144:1 NASB)
"Blessed be GOD, my mountain, who trains me to fight fair
and well. He’s the bedrock on which I stand,
the castle in which I live, my rescuing knight."
(Psalm 144:1-2 The Message)
"I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised,
And I am saved from my enemies."
(2 Samuel 22:1)
