Summary: You are created by God for a purpose. Your creator has the blueprints of how you function. To fulfill your purpose in life, you need to fulfill God's purpose. God's purpose is your purpose.

TEXT: Romans 8:28-30 (NLT)
"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory."
CREATED, CALLED & CHOSEN FOR GOD'S PURPOSE
You are called by God to fulfill his own purpose and not yours. Our purpose is secondary to God's purpose and this should be the priority of every believer. God has plans for your life (Jer 29:11); he created, called and chose you for a purpose and any believer that is not fulfilling the purpose of God makes God sad. Paul said in 2 Tim 1:9: "Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began." Prov 16:4 says: "The Lord has made everything for his own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster." You will receive a revelation of God's purpose for you life and receive grace to fulfil it in Jesus name.
Rev 4:11 says: "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." You are created to give God pleasure. You can only give God pleasure when you fulfill the purpose for which he created you. If your lifestyle is contrary to God's will you cannot please him. Is your life bringing pleasure to God? When God looks at you, does he smile or frown?
GOD'S PURPOSE OR SATAN'S PURPOSE
As a free moral agent, you may decide to fulfill God's purpose or align with the agenda of Satan. John 10:10a tells us the purpose of Satan: To steal, kill and destroy. The purpose of Christ is to give abundant life to all who believe in him (John 10:10b). You too have a purpose God has called you to fulfil. Jeremiah was called and chosen to be a prophet and he fulfilled his purpose. Judas Iscariot was called to be an apostle; he did not fulfil his purpose. Satan entered him and truncated his purpose. Satan will not succeed in sifting you and truncating your purpose in Jesus name.
GOD'S PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE
What is God's purpose for your life?
Romans 8:29 (NLT) says:
"For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters." God's purpose for you is to be like Jesus Christ.
Micah 6:8 says: "He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"
Deut 10:12 says: "And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul."
Eccl 3:14 says: "... God’s purpose is that people should fear him."
Romans 12:1 says: "And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him."
Jer 32:39 says: "And I will give them one heart and one purpose: to worship me forever...."
Jesus answering a question about what to do to inherit eternal life said in Luke 10:27: "...Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself."
Jesus told his disciples in Mark 16:15: "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
1 Thessalonians 5:18 says: "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
Fear God, Worship Him, Serve Him, Be like Jesus, Be humble, just and merciful. Offer your body as a living sacrifice to God, Love God and your neighbour, Preach the gospel of Christ and Learn to appreciate God and give him thanks in whatever circumstance you find yourself.
