Men’s Page

This chapter and the next is designed to give men and women  some do’s and don’ts based on scripture. I thought it necessary to include this as the world has a permissive laissez faire attitude. A true Christian is he who does the will of YAHWEH.

The Bible has clear instructions for men and how they should behave. Simply put the rules are as follows that is if you want to live an abundant life.

Surrender your life to YAHSHUA, mean it and act according to HIS ways. When not sure ask HIM.HE is real.

Honor YAHWEH-This simply means do what HE says, how He says it above your own will .

Pray and have a serious working and functional relationship with your Maker. Remember its about HIM not you. You get to benefit immensely in the process.

Stand up for YAHWEH and your Christian beliefs. Evil prospers when good men do nothing.

Honor your parents.

Honor women and girls. Remember that women and girls are wired to listen and believe what men say. They are not toys they are YAHWEH’s children and you will account for every word you tell a woman or girl to their owner: YAHWEH

Stay away from alcohol, drugs and other stimulants

Avoid evil company, feet that rush to do evil. Bad company corrupts good morals. Birds of a feather flock together .If you want to be an upright follower of CHRIST, ,locate upright followers of Christ and fellowship with them.

Be content. Avoid greed and avarice. Yes, the grass is always greener on the other side but it could be because it is growing in a swamp.

Remember that beauty fades and charm is deceitful. All women are fearfully and wonderfully made. Look for beauty in that, not in external features. Remember all that glitters is not gold. Let’s adjust that, what is made to glitter is definitely not gold.

Remember that money, achievements and possessions do not define you. Allow YAHWEH’s purpose to define and guide you. Seek first the kingdom of YAHWEH and all these things will be added to you.

Don’t be lazy, work. Income is but just one of the rewards.

Times can be tough, don’t kill yourself or get depressed hold on, the LORD is faithful. Remember brother Job and call on the LORD without tiring. Even if he slays you trust HIM, after all you are a Christian that means He owns you.

Sex is not everything .It can build you and destroy you. Therefore, control yourself. As a Christian scholar said “Highly sexed people can highly serve”. There is nothing wrong with a sex drive, the only problem is having sex outside marriage. Even in marriage sex is controlled. You are advised to stay away from your wife by agreement for a while for prayer and during her menses.

Don’t ever beat your wife or someone else’s wife. Beating women or using violence on women is foolish. Every one knows you will win the battle but she will win the war because YAHWEH will fight for her weak and defenseless as she is. Learn to walk away no matter what she says or does and remember to come back. Now that’s love. This works best if you are equally yoked.

Stay away from other men’s wives whether married or not. Stay away from death disguised in the form of prostitutes and other strange women with painted lips and perfumed bodies.

Read and improve yourself as much as you can.

Eat balanced meals This is not about meat and ugali. Vegetables are food too.

Exercise and avoid putting on too much weight.

Be a good example to all.

Be a good citizen, pray for the city you live in.

Avoid criminal behavior

Mentor a fatherless boy.

Don’t father illegitimate children/Don’t have sex with a woman who is not your wife.

Love and Defend your wife- Ask YAHWEH for grace to do this even if she is unlovable
