Complete Victory Through The Blood Of Our Lord And Savior Jesus Christ!

Summary: There is a teaching that the Blood of Jesus is limited in it's power to forgive sins and the power of the devil and past. That we must confess again what God has forgotten. Let me say, when we come to Him, never to remember them again.
COMPLETE VICTORY THROUGH THE BLOOD OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!
There seems to be a revival of the old teaching that the Blood of Jesus is limited in it's power to forgive sins and the power of the devil and past. That we must confess again what God has forgotten. Let me say, before sharing what the Bible teaches, is that I believe that Jesus sets people free from past sins when we come to Him, never to remember them again.
I. Most important, His blood cleanses us from ALL SIN.
1 John 1:7 (KJV) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
II. Never to remember them again. When God forgives He forgets.
Isaiah 43:25 (KJV) I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
A. Who then remembers our past?
1. We can remember them and we do it with regrets, Regrets are a form of unforgiveness.
Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
2. We must also forgive ourselves as well as others.
B. The devil also remembers and likes to throw the past up to us in the form of regrets.
1. Remember if God forgave and forgot, never to bring them up to you, why should you have regrets?
2. Forgiveness is a funny thing; it warms the heart and cools the sting
Hebrews 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
III. Do not let your past memories, people or the devil throw up, past sins. When you repented, opened your heart, received Christ and was born again not only your sins but your past was forgiven and your new name was written in His Book of Life.
John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
IV. What, to remember, is what Christ has done for you and shout the Victory. Be one who gives forgiveness without remembering. And blessed are those who receive without forgetting.
What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
Oh, precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow
No other fount I know
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
