Text: Proverbs 16:3,4 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Psa. 37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Introduction: Commitment is one of the words most people would like to remove from their dictionaries. Let’s go one step further to say that most people would like to remove it from their life style. God's Word teaches that we should be committed in everything we do.

Giving yourself to God by faith!

A New Way of Life.

B. SERVICE

Serving Him!

Living for Him!

C. SACRIFICE

Time

Talent

Tithe!

II. COMMITTED TO YOUR CHURCH –

Acts 2:42-47 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

IV. COMMITTED TO YOUR JOB

I’m a construction worker, a nurse, a farmer or a banker.

No… the job of Matthew 28:18-20

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
