Good morning, brothers and sisters. How great it is to be gathered here, surrounded by a family of faith, in both bright days and dark hours. Today, we're diving into one of those challenging topics that touches every one of us at some point in our journey - bereavement, grief, loss. It's tough, right? It's painful. And yet, in the midst of it all, God is there, His comfort enveloping us like a warm embrace.
Listen to these words from Dutch theologian Abraham Kuyper, who once wrote, "In the total expanse of human life there is not a single square inch of which the Christ, who alone is sovereign, does not declare, 'That is mine!'".
Today, we're going to see that truth alive in the words of Jesus, as we explore John 11:25, where He states, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die."
