V12, “And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in

swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

The angels invite us to “Come and See”

- Come and See a baby, wrapped, lying in a manger

- Come and See God’s Messiah for mankind

- Come and See God’s King of Kings, Lord of Lords

- Come and See God, Himself, in the flesh

Come and see what God has done!!

SLIDE - Jesus Invites Us John 1:39

V39, “He saith unto them, Come and See. They came and saw where he dwelt,

and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.”

John the Baptist pointed his disciples to Jesus Christ.

“Behold the Lamb of God!”

The disciples ceased to follow John the Baptist

and began to follow Jesus –the Lamb of God

The Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.

The Lamb of God that is full of Grace and Mercy

The Lamb of God that forgives sin

The Lamb of God that gives eternal life

The Lamb of God that has gone to prepare a place for us

The Lamb of God that will, one day, soon, receive us to Himself

The messenger of God, John the Baptist, points to the Lamb of God.

The Lamb of God says, “Come and See”

Come and see what God has done!!

Come and See Jesus teaching the ignorant, healing the sick and

deformed, feeding the hungry, casting out demons, calming the seas, declaring truth to a people in darkness, loving the unlovely, showing mercy and grace and compassion and patience.

Showing the world – GOD

Come and see what God has done!!

See Him alone while his followers sleep

See Him agonizing in prayer

See Him sweating great drops of blood

See Him as He implores the Father – “let this cup pass”

See Him submitting to the Father’s Plan – “not my will, but thine”

Come and see what God has done!!

SLIDE - Come and See Jesus Arrested and on Trial

See Him beaten and bruised

See Him mocked, wearing a crown of thorns

See Him slapped and spit on

See Him condemned to die

See Him carrying His cross up to Golgotha

Come and see what God has done!!

See Him nailed with spikes in his hands and feet, to that old cross

See Him suffering and bleeding

See Him thirsty and alone

See Him separated from God the Father and God the Holy Spirit

because of OUR sins, paying justly for OUR sins

suffering OUR eternity of Hell, in OUR place.

See Him giving up the Ghost – dismissing His spirit.

See Him, the Lamb of God - dead

Come and see what God has done!!

See Nicodemus & Joseph carry the Lamb to the grave

As Mary, John and some others followed.

See Jesus, our sacrificed Lamb wrapped and laid in Joseph’s tomb.

See the stone rolled in to lock God’s Lamb inside.

Come and see what God has done!!

Come and see the stone rolled back.

Come with Mary to see an empty grave

Come with Peter and John to see an empty grave

Come and see Him appear on the road to Emmaeus

Come and see Him appear in the Upper Room

Don’t be like Thomas, unbelieving, but Believe

Come and see that He is ALIVE!

Come and see what God has done!!

Seated and Glorified – He very Heaven

See Him as He moves to rise from His throne

He’s coming – SOON!

Come and See the story of God’s amazing love

Come and See the story of His salvation full and free

Come and See What God hath done!
