Claiming Your Destiny

Two Scriptures: Ephesians 3:20 & Hebrews 11:1
Two Questions:
1) Are you satisfied with your life?
2)
Do you believe that God could
have so much more for you
?

Now all glory to God, who is able,
through his mighty power at work within
us, to accomplish infinitely more than we

Faith is the confidence that what we
hope for will actually happen; it gives us
assurance about things we cannot see.

Definition:
“destine” - : “to decree beforehand”
”
(The Bible is called “the Law”)
destiny – : “something to
which a person or thing is destined”
“decree” – “an order usually having the
force of law
So how can I claim my destiny? # 1 – Be Future Focused
i. don’t allow remorse or resentment to chain you to your past
i. Many aspiring writers wish to know the key to becoming a great author. It’s simple: start writing something every day. The secret to your success is determined by your daily agenda. Dreams appear impossibly unachievable when viewed in their entirety. However, you don’t have to make them happen overnight;

you only need to make the
most of the present day.

iii. The greatest ideas might be within you
iv. The greatest invention might be within you
v. The greatest company might be within you
vi. The greatest cure might be within you
vii. But what will you do today that will change your future and claim your destiny?
c. Fast-Forward Your Life
i. In other words, ask yourself now what your regrets will be 10 years, 20 years or 50 years from now and do your best to live a life of “no regrets”

ii. Dr. Anthony Campolo tells about a sociological study in which fifty people over the age of ninety-five were asked one question: “If you could live your life over again, what would you do differently?” It was an open-ended question, and a multiplicity of responses came from these elderly senior citizens. However, one answer consistently surfaced: “If I had it to do over again, I would risk more.” Don’t let fear of failure prevent you from trying new things.
iii. The saddest summary of a life
contains three regrets: I could
have, I might have, and I
should have.

If we are going to claim our destiny, then it means we will have to do these three things:
