—Explanation:(:24-25) Faithful

:24—“‘But I say to you, the rest who are in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not known the deep things of Satan, as they call them--I place no other burden on you.”

:25—“‘Nevertheless what you have, hold fast until I come.”

?What do “the rest” have that the others don’t?

1Pet. 1:10-11—“As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful search and inquiry, seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow.”

THE RULE OF GOD(:26-27)

—Explanation:(:26-27)

:26—“‘And he who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, TO HIM I WILL GIVE AUTHORITY OVER THE NATIONS;”

Ps. 2:8—“‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Thine inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Thy possession.”

:27—“AND HE SHALL RULE THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON, AS THE VESSELS OF THE POTTER ARE BROKEN TO PIECES, as I also have received authority from My Father;”

Ps. 2:9—“‘Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron, Thou shalt shatter them like earthenware.’””

“RULE”—poimainw—Feed, Tend a flock or Pasture sheep. A strong sense of nourishment implied. The noun form—poimhn—Shepherd or pastor.
