I. An Individual Matter

c. Church is a group of individuals.

II. It Should be Proportionate

a. As God has prospered.

2) Businesslike, no need of inferior complex of doing your own part.

c. Tithing is God's proportionate way.

1) Hebrews 7: everyone is on equal basis.

III. Systematic Method

a. First day of the week

b. Bring, not send, Malachi 3:10

c. Just like making monthly payments on a bill.

d. Designated amount, 10%.

e. Designated place, the church.

f. Designated time, first day of the week.

IV. Do it Cheerfully

a. 2 Corinthians 8:3

b. Christian’s attitude, gratitude

c. 2 Corinthians 9:7, God love accompanies this kind of giving.

V. Giving is a grace.

a. 2 Corinthians 8:7

b. Many do not have enough, can't be mustered by self, worked up.

c. God is able to give this grace also, 2 Corinthians 9:8
