Christ The Link

1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV)

9But as it is written:

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,

Nor have entered into the heart of man

The things, which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Christ is the link between mankind and heaven. His death on the cross and his resurrection from the dead made it possible to be brought back to God.

1 Corinthians 15:47 (NKJV)

47The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.

Christ came from Heaven

Christ was involved in the creation of the heavens and the earth, the birds of the air, fish of the sea, beasts of the forests, and the crown of creation Adam & Eve.

The penalty of death was placed on mankind when he disobeyed God.

Because of Gods love for you and me for all Christ proceeded from heaven to pay the penalty for or sins once and for all

John 3:13-15 (NKJV)

13“No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. 14“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15“that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

Christ preached about heaven

Matthew 6:19-20 (NKJV)

19“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20“but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

While Jesus was on earth he preached about heaven. He taught us how to get there. He promised we would be rewarded, by laying up treasures in heaven.

Christ discouraged placing too much value on temporal things. He admonished us to “seek first the kingdom of God… and all these things will be added unto you Matt 6:33

Revelation 3:21 (NKJV)

21“To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Christ promised heaven to those who over come

Christ is preparing heaven for us

John 14:2-3 (NKJV)

2“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Before Christ left the earth he promised to go and prepare a place where

Revelation 21:4 (NKJV)

4“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

There will be no more sin, suffering, or sorrow for those who love the lord and he promise to return and take us with him home

It took six days to prepare earth it has taken Jesus two thousand to prepare heaven

Christ is coming soon. Since we want our loved ones and friends to go to heaven too we must keep praying, believing and working.
