The ARK of the Covenant bears The Mercy Seat

Jesus rose from the grave, rose from the death bed. Rose to show us HIS Mercy.

Jesus is the NEW ARK of the NEW COVENANT

Like NOAH, we can be SAVED by the believing in what Christ has accomplished. Jesus is our ARK, where we obtain GOD’s Mercy over our judgment.

We are SAVED only by the new Covenant. ONLY BY CHRIST!

THE OLD COVENANT – THE ARK OF THE COVENANT

Exodus 25:10-22 The Ark of the Covenant 18-21

Exodus 25:10 And they shall make an ark…

Exodus 25:18-21 18 And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.

19 And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.

20 And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.

21 And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.

A NEW COVENANT PROPHESIED

Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

JESUS GAVE HIS LIFE, HIS BODY AND HIS BLOOD FOR THE NEW TESTAMENT, THE NEW COVENANT

Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

THE NEW ARK OF THE COVENANT SEEN

John 20:11-12 11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,

12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

John 20:1-29 1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.

3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.

4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.

5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.

6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,

A NAPKIN TOSSED, MEANS I’M DONE.

A NAPKIN FOLDED, MEANS, I’M COMING BACK vs 7

7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.

THEY DIDN’T UNDERSTAND. HE MUST RISE AGAIN vs 9

9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

10 Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.

THE NEW ARK OF THE COVENANT, AND THE MERCY SEAT DESCRIBED vs 12

11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,

12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.

14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
