Summary: The Kingdom of God is characterized by righteousness, joy, peace, and power.

Choosing Kingdom Ways

The Kingdom of God is characterized by righteousness, joy, peace, and power.

When we speak of the Kingdom it means

- Power over all the works of the devil

- Breaking chains

- Releasing healing and miracles

- Living in abundance and overflow

Kingdom fruit (Galatians 5)

Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

Fruit of the flesh (Galatians 5) (Anti-Kingdom)

Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness,

Qualifying for the Kingdom - Self-examination

2 Corinthians 13:5-6 - Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?-unless indeed you are disqualified. But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified.

To prepare for revival, you must build first

Haggai 1 – To build

“Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins? Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts: Consider your ways! You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes. Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified," says the LORD.

Haggai 2 – Revival

“And I will shake all nations and I will fill this temple with glory. The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine. The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former and in this place I will give peace.” says the LORD of hosts.

The Spirit of King Hezekiah

Whatever we do will either attract the glory or attract the flies. We either walk in the Spirit or walk in the flesh.

He saw how the lord of the flies dominated Israel. He did something about it. He:

- Reinstated God’s Word

- Sanctified the people

- Made a sacrifice

- Made a proclamation

- Gathered the people

The Spirit of King Agrippa

Acts 26;28-29 - Then Agrippa said to Paul, "You almost persuade me to become a Christian." And Paul said “I would to God that not only you, but also all who hear me today, might become both almost and altogether as I am.”

As you consider your ways, are you “almost” or “altogether” committed to God’s Kingdom ways?
