Changing Your Atmosphere

Mark 14:3-9

3And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.

4And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?

And they murmured against her.

8She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying.

9Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

Rev.4 (Worship is the atmosphere of Heaven)

True worship has only one object(God) the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost

Rev 4:10-11

10The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever,

Worship is self emptying, or emptying of self. (it is dethroning self)

and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

John 4:23

23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

True worship is costly. I will not give to God that which costs me nothing.

1 Chr 21:24And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.

True worship changes the atmosphere, it releases heavens atmosphere into the earth

True worship changes me(She wiped his feet with her hair)=This put the same anointing that was on Jesus on her.

True Worship releases the anointing (Oil is a type of the Holy Spirit)

True worship will cause people to talk.(Why was this waste made)

True worship always exposes vain worship, or religion. (Religion cannot truly worship God, because religion worships (self,) self wisdom, self works, self righteousness.

When the box was broken, or the seal was broken all the contents had to be used at once, there was no way of resealing the box, There was no cap or cork to be able to measure out in small amounts, and to spread it’s use out over an extended period of time. ( It was all or nothing) Using that premise I wonder how many times we have truly worshipped?

True worship is not an experience, but a way of Life.

Matt 15:7-9 (7)Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

(8)This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. (9)But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Vain,= fruitlessly manipulation, (to handle or squeeze); to chew: -- gnaw.

True worship has no alterior motive. (Vain worship is deceptive and manipulative and is self motivated)

Any where true worship takes place the atmosphere is changed, The presence of God is manifested.
