Closing: The message is this. You MUST know who your source is in time of trouble. You MUST know who to turn to, who to call on, who to exalt, who to praise, who to talk to when it seems that life isn’t going the right way. I have two closings.
#1 – If you are here and you would proclaim that you have accepted God’s gift of salvation, but you aren’t living the life, you aren’t walking the walk, you are playing games, you don’t have the authority that has been given to you, you aren’t shining for Christ; then I want to pray with you. You can know your source NOW. Don’t wait until trouble comes – pre-determine whom you are going to call on before the trouble comes.
#2 – If you are here and you don’t know Christ as your savior. He isn’t real to you. You haven’t accepted God’s gift of salvation – then I want you to think about it for a moment right where you sit. You have two options. You can face life alone. You can face ever hardship that life throws your way all by yourself – or at the hands of a shrink or counselor or uneducated friend/relative/well-meaning or not… Or – you can accept God’s gift – Christ’s sacrifice on the cross – and have all answers. Have all wisdom. Have all power and authority from God to face life’s challenges. You can have security and knowledge that you will spend eternity in the very presence of God. You will go through life – with faith in hand – conquering every temptation, every hardship, every relationship, every ministry through God’s power.
