BY HIM

Heb 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

BY HIM

In myself I never had any good thing to say, or hope to look to, but when I confessed by sins and gave my life to him, I found joy, peace , longsuffering, goodness, gentleness etc…I am saying I became fruitful and found praise to give when I stopped living by my own might and strength and began to live BY HIM!!!!!

CONTINUALLY

I have seen so many that talk faith and praise and thanks giving when there is good times but when bad times came they suddenly had no praise. When we give praise according to whatever atmosphere the world creates we will live our lives on a rollercoaster of depression and guilt, but when we live each moment of our lives BY HIM we will live a life of praise not now and then but continually.

It is the continuous Christians that people are led to Christ by, not the fair weather Christians that are a dime a dozen. Church remember nothing good lies within you and I alone but only BY HIM!

PETER AND THE WATER

Mat 14:27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

Mat 14:28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

Mat 14:29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

Mat 14:30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

Mat 14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

When Peter kept his eyes on Jesus everything was victorious and miraculous, but when he began to study the details of the storm he began to sink. Why? Because by looking at his surroundings and his obstacles he was measuring himself up by his abilities and power. The problem is he didn’t have what it took to walk on the water or the troubles of his moment, but when he got his eyes on Jesus and cried out for help and confessed he would sink without him, then he found victory over the storm and the oposition , but it was only by him.

We struggle with keeping a life of praise consistant, because we are measuring ourselves up to the current crisis, and we soon are overtaken and sink into the myer of this sinful world, but my friend be of good cheer , because if you will live BY HIM ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! THERE IS NO WEAPON THAT CAN BE FORMED AGAINST YOU THAT WILL PROSPER!

DAVID AND GOLIATH

David said to Goliath just as he smacked him with the winning stone, “ I come to you in the name of the Lord.” What was he saying? I am not coming by my power, my might, not by our works but BY HIM!!!!!!

DAVID NUMBERED HIS ARMY

In the Old Testament we find David numbered his army before he went into battle. He stopped fighting BY HIM AND BY SELF. You will never win your battles by Self but BY HIM.

BY THE FRUIT OF YOUR LIPS

JOSHUA AND THE MEMORIAL

Jos 4:20 And those twelve stones, which they took out of Jordan, did Joshua pitch in Gilgal.

Jos 4:21 And he spoke unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?

Jos 4:22 Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land.

Jos 4:23 For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over:

Jos 4:24 That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God forever.

Just as God felt it was important to let remind themselves and their future generations to know it was all BY HIM it is important that as we go through life that we not only live for our own benefit, but that somewhere in life you need to be planting a testimony and a memorial to others ( children, sinners, brothers in Christ) that your victory and their victory is BY HIM.
