1. The Resting Place
Mention: Matt. 11:28 Come unto Me all ye that labor and heavy laden and I will give you rest.
See: Hebrews 4:1-3, 8-10 There remaineth there for a rest to the people of God
Three things that will oppose that rest:
a. Our Original Origin
Mention: Numbers 11:14 Why came we forth out of Egypt
Exodus 16:3 It would have been better to die in Egypt
The world we all were called out of will always be inviting!
b. Our Object of Faith
Mention: Hebrews 4:2 The word they heard was not mixed with faith
If there is no trust there is no rest!
c. Our Obstacles or Oppositions
Mention: Numbers 13:33 We are in our sight as grasshoppers…
Numbers 14:8-9 The LORD is with us…
Romans 8:31 If God be for us who can be against us
He is our resting place!
2. Our Reason of Hope
