While it grieves me that so many people in the world are running around fat, dumb and happy in their sin while on their way to Hell it grieves me even more that there are so many fat, dumb and happy people in churches that are still in their sins because they have ritual without reality and religion without Jesus thus on their way to Hell thinking they are going to Heaven.

The sad thing is that those who do not believe freely acknowledge they are going to Hell or if they do not believe in Hell they believe that if there was one they would go there and not Heaven. So when they arrive they will not be shocked.

Imagine the shock of the people who attended church sporadically as a SMO or Creaster as well as the one who was there every time the door opened even if only as a pew warmer finds themselves in Hell. They followed the rituals of their church and knew the lingo, but never checked the Bible to see if what their group was telling them was right or not. They heard enough about Jesus so they thought they knew Him and yet did not.

Bigger shock to the pastor, elder, deacon, SS teacher, and other leaders who hear Him say to depart as He never knew them, but as workers of iniquity. They learned the creeds and foundations of their denomination, but never really learned of Him that is meek and lowly. They were ever learning, but never coming to the full knowledge of the truth. If Hell could be twice as bad, it would be so for these folks.

Act 17:10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.

11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.

2 Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

Don't just quote creeds and practice rituals. Be a Berean and make you calling and election sure lest you be in for a Hell of a shock when you breathe your last.

I was only my well to Hell as a Methodist and my wife as a Lutheran because we were Methodist and Lutheran, but not Christians. I have met many in the same boat from other groups as well. I fear there will be far more Baptists in Hell because of improper evangelism that made people twice the child of Hell. No group is immune from this so do not breathe a sigh of relief because I did not mention your group. I fear the more rituals in the church the greater the chance of being lost in ritual and missing Jesus because He is clouded or blocked out by the rituals.

2 Tim 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Never forget that you have to show yourself approved unto God, not men. You can die with high honors from men and still end up in Hell. Be wise!. Be sure! He is coming back! You may go to Him, first!
