Explore and understand the immense power of God, His unfailing love, and the importance of our faith in Him, as illustrated in Matthew 19:26, which assures us that with God, all things are possible.

Introduction

Good morning, brothers and sisters in Christ! Today, we're diving into the heart of Matthew 19:26, a scripture that reminds us of God's immense power, His unfailing love, and our faith in Him.

The verse reads, "Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'"

Isn't it just amazing to know that we serve a God who specializes in making the impossible possible?

Germany Kent once said, "With God, there’s always an appointed time for things, and when you put Him first, trust in His timing, and keep the faith, miracles happen!"

Let's bow our heads together as we open in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we come to you today with gratitude and awe for your power, love, and support. We pray that as we delve into Your Word, You will strengthen our faith and help us to trust that with You, everything is possible. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let’s get started!

God's Power to Make the Impossible Possible

God's power to make the impossible possible is the cornerstone upon which we build our trust in Him, and it is the beacon that guides us through the darkest nights of our lives.

This power is not just about the grand miracles we read about in the Bible, but it also encompasses the everyday miracles that occur in our lives.

It is about the healing of a sick loved one, the provision of a job when all hope seemed lost, the restoration of a broken relationship, or the strength to endure a difficult situation.

When we talk about God's power: We are not just referring to His ability to create the universe and everything in it, but also His ability to intervene in our lives in ways that defy human understanding or explanation.

This power is not limited by our human limitations or understanding. It is not bound by the laws of nature or the constraints of time. It is infinite, eternal, and unchanging.

In the Bible: We see numerous examples of God's power to make the impossible possible. When the Israelites were trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh's army, it seemed like there was no way out. But God parted the Red Sea and made a way for them to escape. When Daniel was thrown into the lion's den, it seemed like his fate was sealed. But God shut the mouths of the lions and kept Daniel safe. When Jesus was crucified and buried, it seemed like all hope was lost. But God raised Him from the dead, proving that not even death is impossible for Him.

Not just about performing miracles: It is also about His ability to transform lives. He can take a heart that is hardened by sin and soften it with His love. He can take a life that is broken and restore it to wholeness. He can take a person who is lost and guide them to the path of righteousness. This transformative power is perhaps the most profound demonstration of God's ability to make the impossible possible.

The way He answers our prayers: Sometimes, we pray for something and it seems like there is no way our prayer can be answered. But God, in His infinite wisdom and power, finds a way. He may not answer our prayers in the way we expect or in the timeframe we want, but He always answers according to His perfect will and timing.

It’s motivated by His love for us: He does not wield His power arbitrarily or capriciously, but with wisdom, grace, and compassion. He uses His power to bless us, to guide us, to protect us, and to draw us closer to Him.

Pastor, here would be a good place to share a personal story about how God used His power to make the impossible possible in your life.
