? How would an eternal Spirit communicate with mortal man?

? Through His Creation.

? Through His Scripture.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

? Through the Prophets.

Hebrews 1:1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways,

? Through Human Nature.

Genesis 1:27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

? Through Jesus.

John 1:18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

Hebrews 1:2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

2. 4 Claims of the Bible

? Its Divine Authority. Its authority is grounded upon God Himself.

1 Thessalonians 2:13-- "Ye received the Word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the Word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe."

? Its Complete Infallibility. Its infallibility is complete.

John 10:35-- "The Scripture cannot be broken."

? Its Absolute Sufficiency. Its sufficiency is absolute.

Galatians 1:8-9 "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."

? Its Verbal Inspiration

2 Timothy 3:16-- "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God,

2 Peter 1:21-- "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."

Galatians 3:16-- "Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ."

Matthew 5:18-- "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

3. 7 Reasons to Believe the Bible
