VIII. MAIN BODY:
A. Boaz represents CHRIST
"Then Boaz said to his servant who was set over the reapers,"
Every unbeliever is not known of GOD if he's rejecting the salvation of GOD.
Boaz symbolizes CHRIST - as Redeemer of our soul, Boaz is called kinsman-redeemer. Boaz's servants or reapers represents or symbolizes the angelic rulers and authorities mentioned in Ephesians 3:10
1 Corinthians 8:3 (Amplified Bible)
8:3 But if one loves God truly [with affectionate reverence, prompt obedience, and grateful recognition of His blessing], he is known by God [recognized as worthy of His intimacy and love, and he is owned by Him].
Only through the administration, power and authority that was placed in local churches a man can fully know GOD by having relationship with GOD. Any man or woman confessing that he's born again but does not have any local church that he or she is committed to, then he/she is lying.
Ephesians 3:10 (Amplified Bible)
3:10 [The purpose is] that through the church the complicated, many-sided wisdom of God in all its infinite variety and innumerable aspects might now be made known to the angelic rulers and authorities (principalities and powers) in the heavenly sphere.
That's why the evil spirit does not know the sons of sceva because they're not committed in a local church but they used the name of JESUS.
Acts 19:15 (Amplified Bible)
19:15 But [one] evil spirit retorted, Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?
Boaz is the third brother of Elimelech, the husband of Naomi. Elimelech represents or symbolizes Adam who died not fulfilling his responsibility properly for all mankind. Therefore the second Adam - who is the LORD JESUS CHRIST represented by Boaz took the place of the first Adam.
Deuteronomy 25:5-9 (Amplified Bible)
25:5 If brothers live together and one of them dies and has no son, his wife shall not be married outside the family to a stranger [an excluded man]. Her husband’s brother shall go in to her and take her as his wife and perform the duty of a husband’s brother to her.
25:6 And the firstborn son shall succeed to the name of the dead brother, that his name may not be blotted out of Israel.
25:7 And if the man does not want to take his brother’s wife, then let his brother’s wife go up to the gate to the elders, and say, My husband’s brother refuses to continue his brother’s name in Israel; he will not perform the duty of my husband’s brother.
25:8 Then the elders of his city shall call him and speak to him. And if he stands firm and says, I do not want to take her,
25:9 Then shall his brother’s wife come to him in the presence of the elders and pull his shoe off his foot and spit in his face and shall answer, So shall it be done to that man who does not build up his brother’s house.
1 Corinthians 15:45-46 (Amplified Bible)
15:45 Thus it is written, The first man Adam became a living being (an individual personality); the last Adam (Christ) became a life-giving Spirit [restoring the dead to life].
15:46 But it is not the spiritual life which came first, but the physical and then the spiritual.
John 3:7 (Amplified Bible)
3:7 Marvel not [do not be surprised, astonished] at My telling you, You must all be born anew (from above).
In law, we need to pay for our sins and die on the cross, but CHRIST fulfilled this obligation for us, He died on the cross in our place thus fulfilling his Kinsman-Redeemer responsibilities to us.
B. Ruth represents the Church
"Whose maiden is this?"
Ruth symbolizes the Church that is married to Boaz symbolizing CHRIST.
Isaiah 54:5 (Amplified Bible)
54:5 For your Maker is your Husband—the Lord of hosts is His name—and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; the God of the whole earth He is called.
