Blessed Is The Man

Psalm 1 Blessed is the Man 1. Blessed in His Dedication - 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. He Is :- (a) Careful In His Step - walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly (b) Cautious In His Stand - nor standeth in the way of sinners (c) Conscious In His Seat - nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2. Blessed in His Deliberation - 2,3 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. He Is :- (a) Prepared By The Word - 2 and in his law doth he meditate day and night (b) Planted In The Word - 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, (c) Productive Through The Word - 3 that bringeth forth his fruit in his season (d) Patient With The Word - 3 his leaf also shall not wither; (e) Prosperous Because Of The Word - 3 and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper 3. Blessed in His Declaration 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. The Ungodly Have:-

(a) No Seed Of Life, (b) No Substance In Life, (c) No Salvation For Life. 4. Blessed in His Destination - 5-6 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. He Is :- (a) Practical - 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, (mindful of judgement) (b) Purposeful - 5 nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (c) Powerful - 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
