ILLUSTRATION:
I'm inviting a man to come to the worship services but he said that he will only approach GOD when he's blameless, I laughed and blurted out a joke. "So you're saying you want to be clean first before taking a bath?" He was curious and asked, "what's so funny?" I told him, you are because it's the same thing with GOD, you can't be blameless enough to please GOD, we please GOD with our faith alone. You come to GOD as dirty as you are, like taking a bath, and after He washes You with His blood, you will be clean.
