Biblical Sanctity Of Life, Nasb, Footnotes From Biblegateway.com Draft

Summary: This is based on a Focus on the Family question.
"We believe that human beings are created by God in His image. Therefore, every person,
from conception to natural death, possesses inherent dignity and immeasurable worth –
including preborn children, elderly individuals, those with special needs and others
marginalized by society. Christians, then, are called to defend, protect, and value all
human life." https://assessments.focusonthefamily.com/s3/CCN-Application-Form-2020
I will briefly state what I understand the Bible teaches regarding abortion.
Exodus 21:22-25 22 “If men struggle with each other and strike a woman with child so that [a] (an untimely birth occurs; lit her children come out or) she gives birth prematurely, yet there is no injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman’s husband [b] (literally lays on him) may demand of him, and he shall pay [c] (literally by arbitration) as the judges decide. 23 But if there is any further injury, then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 burn for burn, wound for wound, [d]bruise for bruise (literally welt)
This is getting at a mother being injured, resulting in a baby's death or a premature birth. There was a fine. If the baby died, the penalty was death. This shows how sacred life is considered.
