INTRODUCTION

From the foundations of Scripture, God reveals Himself not only as a Deliverer but also as a Preserver. Many battles believers face are unseen, fought in spiritual realms where human strength is insufficient. Yet, God draws a protective boundary around His covenant people that the enemy cannot cross without divine permission.

The enemy is real, strategic, and persistent, but he is not sovereign. He operates within limits set by God. Psalm 105:14-15 unveils a powerful truth that God actively restrains kings, systems, and forces from harming those He has claimed as His own.

This message assures believers that regardless of opposition, witchcraft, oppression, or human conspiracy, there exists a realm of divine security where God’s people dwell beyond the enemy’s touch.

1. GOD PERSONALLY ENFORCES DIVINE PROTECTION OVER HIS PEOPLE

Protection is not accidental; it is actively supervised by God Himself.

God does not delegate His covenant protection lightly, He guards His own with authority.

a) God places restrictions on human and spiritual enemies (Psalm 105:14)

God rebukes kings and nations, proving that power bows before divine command.

b) Divine protection is covenant-based (Genesis 15:1)

God becomes a shield to those in covenant relationship with Him.

c) God watches over His people continually (Psalm 121:7-8)

Protection is constant, not seasonal.

d) God intervenes before harm manifests (Job 1:10)

Divine hedges operate proactively, not reactively.

Biblical Example:

Abraham moved among hostile nations, yet God restrained kings from touching Sarah, enforcing divine protection (Genesis 12:17-20).

2. THE ANOINTING ESTABLISHES A NO-TOUCH BOUNDARY

The anointing is not just for service; it is for preservation.

God marks His people spiritually, making them untouchable except by divine permission.

a) The anointing identifies divine ownership (2 Corinthians 1:21)

God marks those who belong to Him.

b) The anointing repels spiritual attack (Isaiah 10:27)

Yokes break because of the anointing.

c) Anointed lives provoke divine defence. (Zechariah 2:8)

Touching God’s people is equated with touching God Himself.

d) The anointing frustrates wicked inquiries (Luke 10:19)

Authority surpasses enemy strategy.

Biblical Example:

David lived among enemies and in caves, yet Saul could not touch him because God’s anointing preserved him (1 Samuel 24:6).

3. GOD’S PROTECTION PRESERVES DESTINY AND PURPOSE

Protection is not only about survival but about fulfilment.

God keeps His people alive because their assignment must be completed.

a) God defends destinies from abortion (Jeremiah 1:5)

God preserves what He ordained.

b) Preservation outlives opposition (Psalm 91:7) Many may fall, but God’s purpose stands.

c) Attacks do not cancel divine calling. (Romans 11:29)

God’s gifts and callings remain intact.

d) God shields His own until assignment is finished (2 Timothy 4:18)

Deliverance ensures completion.

Biblical Example:

Joseph passed through betrayal, prison, and false accusation, yet God preserved him because his destiny was larger than the attack (Genesis 50:20).

4. DIVINE PRESERVATION REQUIRES ABIDING IN GOD’S COVERING

Though God protects, believers must dwell within divine order.

Protection is enjoyed fully by those who remain aligned with God.

a) Abiding in God activates coverage (Psalm 91:1)

Dwelling brings security.

b) Obedience sustains protection. (Deuteronomy 28:1-7)

Alignment enforces defence.

c) Faith resists fear-based attacks (2 Thessalonians 3:3)

God establishes and guards the faithful.

d) Prayer reinforces divine boundaries. (Matthew 6:13)

Prayer invites continuous protection.

Biblical Example:

Daniel remained untouched in the lions’ den because he stayed faithful within God’s covering (Daniel 6:22).

CONCLUSION

God has not only saved you, He has secured you. Regardless of threats, conspiracies, spiritual attacks, or visible opposition, there exists a divine boundary the enemy cannot cross. God Himself enforces this boundary.

As long as you remain in covenant, under the anointing, and aligned with God’s will, you are preserved for purpose. You are not merely protected, you are positioned beyond the enemy’s touch.
