Summary: A reminder that we should stop betraying Jesus.

In the eyes of a Christian no one is more despicable than Judas Iscariot. For 30 pcs. of silver he betrayed the Lord Jesus, what a misdeal. He could have gotten alot more. Well did you know that many times in our life we betrayed Him? For much much less. The following areas of our life is where we do such things.

I. Speech-we betray His Throne (Lk. 6:45 cf Rev. 3:20)

A. Lies (Prov 12:22; Jn 14:6 cf Jn 8:44)

B. Curses (Jas 1:19)

II. Life-we betray His Word (Ps. 119:105)

A. Glorify Him (1 Cor 10:31)

B. Contrary (Jas 1:22)

III.Love-we betray His Will

A. Mt. 22:37, 38

B. Mt. 22:39

C. Jn. 13:34

IV. Faith-we betray His Pleasure

Hebrews 11:6

God loves to perform His miracles but without faith we rob Him this pleasure.

V. Purity-we betray His Nature

Leviticus 11:44 cf 1 Peter 1:15

We are called to be holy (Eph 5:3)
