Summary: The Best is yet to Come! This outline shares 4 things a Christian has to look forward to in serving the Lord here on earth.

Best is yet to Come!

I. Serving the Lord is wonderful here but look what is yet to come!

A. Now we are God's children but when we see Him we shall be like Him.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1. Read in the Bible what He was like, we also shall be like HIm on the Day.

II. Second, Paul said we can not comprehend it now but when see Jesus we will not only be like Him but we shall know everything as God knows us and remember He knows everything even the hairs on our heads.

I Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

III. Third, on that day we are not only, by faith, sitting with Christ in heavenly places but we will be with Him physically, to show us His love through Jesus..

Ephesians 2:6-9 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

IV. Fourth, I just submit these 2 verses to have you praise the Lord with me, knowing the best is yet to come.

Revelation 7:17 (KJV) For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Revelation 21:4 (KJV) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
