Begiining To Sink

Beginning to sink….!

Mathew 14:30”……beginning to sink he cried out, "Lord, save me.””

Grab the words ‘beginning to sink!’ If you miss this then you would miss the spice of this message! Peter bravely got into the water and also started to walk on water but the moment he took his eyes off the Master and looked at the wind and the turbulent sea, the Bible says, he was afraid and beginning to sink he cried out, ‘Lord, save me!’ Do you want to know what Jesus did: ‘Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him!’ What an adorable, Lovable God He is!

Watch this, it was all hell breaking loose in the lives of the disciples: they were tired and depleted after a hectic crusade of feeding and catering to a crowd of around ten thousand, it was night time and dark, Jesus was not with them, the wind was against them, the waves were rough and Peter was beginning to sink; despite all this, Jesus expected them to have ‘great faith’ in His power to save them from the sea! The point I want to say is this: God invited Peter to walk on stormy waters! That is the first preparation for an apostle training! The storm was there, the wind was blowing, the entire atmosphere was scary; yet, God wants us to have strong hope in Him.

Therefore friend, fear not of your sinking situation, God would stretch His Hands to save you! No matter what, all Jesus requires from you is to have faith as small as the mustard seed: Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, "If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.” Believe His Words and do not tremble looking at the chaos! You know what, the persecution against our church was mounting up day by day! A huge group of people gathered against us and the local police were summoned to remove our church! Sinking situation! They shouted and humiliated us; yet, it was only after that situation did we gear up more passionately. We held 21 days of fasting prayer with worship every day and now this year another 40 days of fasting prayer is being conducted in the ‘same’ place. Until God moves you no force can touch you! Hurray!

May be your marriage is beginning to sink, may be it looks scary and shaky; not to worry! God can change the situation! Trust Him!

May be your finances are beginning to sink, don’t throw in the towel; God would restore the loss and build you again; humble yourself, repent and change your ways.
