Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Better a woman that by the world's definition is not drop dead gorgeous with beautiful speech than a woman that is drop dead gorgeous with ugly speech. Speech is a sign of the condition of the heart and if the heart is ugly that will last longer than physical beauty unless Christ changes the heart.

1 Peter 3:1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;

4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

Work on the internal and it will reflect better on the outside than working on the outside and leaving the internal ugly. A "homely" woman filled with the Spirit and adorned with God's ornaments is far more attractive to people than any a beautiful woman created by Mary Kay with a decaying soul being manifested by the foul air of her speech.

Beautify your soul and beautiful speech will follow. Beautify your speech and you beautify yourself and those around you making life more beautiful giving you an opportunity to share what God is doing in your life.

Go to Jesus and the Holy Spirit for the best beauty treatment. Go to their table more than the makeup table which is also called a vanity as it is vain and at some point can no longer help you escape the results of aging. Indeed, it can make you look macabre.
