Be led by the Spirit

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Peter was bound by religion and in order for him to be open to change, God showed him a vision of unclean animals that descended from heaven. God told Peter to eat the unclean animals, but because of his understanding of the Law, he rejected this. His response to God was “I have never done this before”. That is what religion does and it can keep us contained and rigid. That was his understanding in accordance with the Law, but it was the Spirit of God who led Peter into new spiritual areas as he ventured into a new season of his life.

We need to be open to the leading of God’s Spirit. We can so easily be bound by religion and follow rules that are either man-made or man-interpreted. If you want God to use you in new areas, be ready to do things for the Kingdom that are alien to your understanding of things.

For the church to be ready for transformation and change, we must be ready to do things that we have never done before. There are things that do not fit in with our traditions or culture, but they fit into God’s plan for His children in this time and season. Do not miss what God is about to do in these last days.

You are chosen

2 Peter 2:9-10 - But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him, who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

We are chosen by God and He has the key to ignite our destinies. Being chosen means we do not have a choice but must do what God wants. Being chosen means we are available and our own plans and desires are in submission to God’s will. A chosen generation is a generation that does not offer any arguments or opposition to God’s plans. He has chosen us and we need to believe that He knows what He is doing and that He will do the right things for us.

We are bought with a price and we are not our own.

Cleaning up

Isaiah 1:18 - "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.”

When we do life, the filth of the world tends to stain us. God is not looking to condemn us in any way, but rather wanting to help us clean up. At times, we go through the mud and the mire and it does not leave us unspotted because life can become messy.

God is about to wash us and purify us again and present us spotless before Him. Allow Him to do the work in your life and work with Him. When God does a work in you, it is perfect.

Here is a prophetic Word which is applicable in this time and keep in mind that God is going to begin with His leaders

Malachi 3:2-3 - "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire and like launderers' soap. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness.”

Be transformed

Romans 12:1-2 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Transformers are very popular children’s toys. For example, an object that looks like a motor car can be thrown on the ground which triggers something inside the toy and it transforms into a fighting warrior. The wheel becomes the ear and the door of the car becomes a shield. This is very amusing for the children (and adults) and they can be kept occupied for hours with them.

God is about to transform us into something different. For example, Joshua was transformed from a seemingly weak person into a warrior. You may be pushed around and thrown to the ground, but God is transforming you. He is changing you from glory to glory. Are you ready to be transformed? Are you ready for a new assignment? Are you ready to do something you have never done before as God gives you a new dream?
