BE A CONQUERING CHRISTIAN

Romans 8: 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Not many Christians in today’s worldly formal church age .

Not many real overcoming spirit-filled victories can be seen.

Too much hot and cold, winter summer part time Christians.

1. We need faith in Christ.

Galatians 2: 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Faith that commits to Christ.

Satisfying faith that combines self to church.

Steadfast faith that cooperates with Christians.

2. Forgiven of sin and its cause.

Romans 8: 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

No longer a servant of Satan.

No longer a slave to sin

Not a sinner but a saint.

3. Filled continually with the spirit.

Ephesians 5: 18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Strength for toil

Skill for the task

Solemnity for trouble

4. Faithfully consecrated in service.

1st Corinthians 4: 2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

Determination to walk the Christians course.

Dedication for a worthy cause.

Diligent in witnessing for Christ.

5. Fearless as a Christian’s soldier.

2nd Timothy 4: 6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Conviction based on sin

Courage to back up the statements

Confidence to believe the Saints.

6. Following the scripture.

Psalms 119: 105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

7. Finishing the course with a shout.

1st Thessalonians 4: 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Rewards will be greater

Regrets will be smaller

Rebuke will be lighter
