Time to awaken into His likeness

Zechariah 3:3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and was standing before the Angel [of the Lord].

3:4 And He spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And He said to [Joshua], Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with rich apparel.

3:5 And I [Zechariah] said, Let them put a clean turban on his head. So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with [rich] garments. And the Angel of the Lord stood by.

3:6 And the Angel of the Lord [solemnly and earnestly] protested and affirmed to Joshua, saying,

3:7 Thus says the Lord of hosts: If you will walk in My ways and keep My charge, then also you shall rule My house and have charge of My courts, and I will give you access [to My presence] and places to walk among these who stand here.

I will give you access into my presence

Christ is our High priest

Hebrews 4:14 Inasmuch then as we have a great High Priest Who has [already] ascended and passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith in Him].

4:15 For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.

4:16 Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].

Zechariah 3:8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, you and your colleagues who [usually] sit before you-for they are men who are a sign or omen [types of what is to come]-for behold, I will bring forth My servant the Branch.

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace.

9:7 Of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from the [latter] time forth, even forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

The Branch – the 7 fold Spirit of God

Zechariah 3:9 For behold, upon the stone which I have set before Joshua, upon that one stone are seven eyes or facets [the all-embracing providence of God and the sevenfold radiations of the Spirit of God]. Behold, I will carve upon it its inscription, says the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity and guilt of this land in a single day.

Psalm 118:19 Open to me the [temple] gates of righteousness; I will enter through them, and I will confess and praise the Lord.

Psalm 24:7 Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you age-abiding doors, that the King of glory may come in.

24:8 Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

The day that Jesus Christ died on the cross, in one single day I will remove all the sin & iniquity.

Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Zechariah 4:1 AND THE angel who talked with me came again and awakened me, like a man who is wakened out of his sleep.

4:12 And a second time I said to him, What are these two olive branches which are beside the two golden tubes or spouts by which the golden oil is emptied out?

Galatians 3:5 Then does He Who supplies you with His marvelous [Holy] Spirit and works powerfully and miraculously among you do so on [the grounds of your doing] what the Law demands, or because of your believing in and adhering to and trusting in and relying on the message that you heard?

Zechariah 4:6 Then he said to me, This [addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts.
