ATTITUDES OF PRAYER

Text: 2 Chronicles 7:14

I. HUMBLE OURSELVES (v.14)

-Humility is a God’s moral character. Through Christ presentation during his time God had shown us His humbleness a thousand years ago.

-Humility is a healing from our Pride. God taught us to be humble because He doesn’t want us to be like Satan dwelt from his own Pride.

-In prayer, humble believer in asking something to God is necessary. The most humble prayer is like the prayer of Jesus “Let your will be done Father,” (Mark 14:36)

II. HASTE BY HIS PRESENCE (v.14)

-Great speed by his presence is tough because you need to measure your perseverance and endurance in every circumstances. Hasting is accelerating and in the majority do this. They love quick job and instant things. If you love to be with his presence you must wait and listen to God direction. Long communication with God is necessary and always devotion unto Him. God wants us to deal always from this area. Seek Him for all time and He will give us new strength and He will bear us constantly.

III. HONEST HEART (v. 14)

- Sin hinders us from the fulfillment of our prayers. We need to be open to God from our iniquities. Sin is not honor to God for it is wrath to Him. Now be in pure and begin asking to God. Clean heart is vital in term of prayer. God wants those people honest to Him. confess it to God immediately.
