At This Point In Time

Psalms 90

1. LORD, you have been our dwelling place in all generations

2. Before the mountains were brought forth,

Or ever YOU had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, YOU are GOD

If there is any scripture that encourages the children of YAHWEH, this is it.

I don’t know you. I don’t know your circumstances, your environment or your drama or lack of drama. You don’t know me. But you are reading this; that The LORD, The MOST HIGH has been our shelter, our dwelling place in all generations. In other words, you have been dwelling in HIM, living in HIM, you have been on and in HIS mind. The scripture tells us that HE has inscribed you on the palm of HIS Hand. In other words, HE has been taking care of you from before time began.

Let us take a look at this from a different angle.

You, Beloved, are in the mind and plan of GOD and you have been there for a long, long time. You in the mind of God precede creation, that is before the mountains were brought forth, HE was your shelter. Before time was and before time began the countdown or count up, whichever your choice, The MOST HIGH was your shelter, you lived in HIM.

Let me draw a simple map to help us grasp this:

i. When the heavens were at peace and few select angels were walking up and down amongst The Holy places, you were in the mind of GOD and HE sheltered you right up to this point in time when HE has granted you a physical existence.

ii. When satan rebelled and there was war in heaven and satan was thrown down to earth, The LORD sheltered you. HE did not discard HIS plan to create you and bring you physically to this point and time.

iii. When Adam and Eve fell out with GOD, GOD our eternal FATHER did not do away with you in HIS mind, HE could have said, “ ..I will just create other perfect things..” but HE didn’t say or do that. Instead , HE soldiered on with HIS plan to create you and bring you physically to this point in time.

iv. When things got crazier and Abel was killed, GOD continued sheltering you and protecting you in HIS mind and in the loins of the first people. When HE saw a vacuum, HE gave Adam and Eve other children so that to ensure you got to this point in time in your physical body.

v. When things got even crazier and more wicked, HE ensured Noah built an ark and you survived in the loins of one of those eight people on the ark and of course always in the mind and the plan of the FATHER, eventually leading to your physical existence, now at this point in time.

vi. And then the plan to build the tower of Babel, hmmm! If I was GOD you would have been deleted from my memory without a recovery button.. Instead of HIM abandoning man, he just separated them and took them to many different places to live in order to reduce their propensity to evil but man is still intent on ignoring GOD and having his own way. Once again you survived in the loins of your ancestors and of course in HIS mind and in His plan, HE sheltered you throughout the generations and ensured your physical existence at this point and time.

vii. Come all the world wars, insurrections, famine, murder , drought, human to human atrocities and all terrible things , right up to to the world wars, Hiroshima, the world trade centre bombing, the numerous plane crashes and accidents, murders, pandemics, elections, name it but you are here, you survived and you can read this. Throughout the time, through being born, when you didn’t know your name, when you went for the school trip, when you lived on the streets, when you were in jail, when you were married to a killer and or psychopath, when you thought you would go crazy, when you participated in dangerous things, you are still here. Others are not. Many others perished but you, you are here. The MOST HIGH has sheltered you and kept you in your physical form alive and well enough to be reading this.

Why then do we doubt His faithfulness? Why do we live in constant rebellion and rage towards HIM?

Please note, Beloved, that your existence in a physical state is not permanent, it is temporary. When you transit into what is commonly called the next world, you don’t go physically, you will go spiritually either into the good graces of GOD or into HIS anger. Beloved, this is the MOST HIGH we are talking about, HIS rewards, kindness and love are legendary but so is HIS wrath, don’t say I never told you.
