As We Forgive Our Debtors!

“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.14For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6:12; 14-15

We all need and yearn for good life. No one wants to be harmed neither ill-treated. People are busy daily making sure that their lives are well .It is surprising to note that we are unwilling to do this for others. We are selfish and so inconsiderate about how others are and feel. God forbid! Forgiveness is the major key to life, success and freedom. Unless and until you are not forgiven by God or forgive others you will be in a cage of doom. Forgive others so as to be forgiven.

Someone once said a rusty plate is the one which is eaten by corrosion. If you are holding anything against someone that’s corrosion and it will eat you until you are finished. So many people have stopped doing certain things because someone who wronged them is also doing the same. Some people sold their good houses just to avoid meeting or seeing those they didn’t forgive. Some have even left their God given marriages because of unforgiveness. No wonder why you are not happy in life you have locked yourself in the cells of UNFORGIVENESS. How can you be so stupid to erect boundaries of where you should go, when, when you should be happy and suddenly changes when someone pops up because of unforgiveness?

Success in life is best defined as the state of well being of your spiritual, physical, social, mental, family, financial and career. Health is also defined as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. This will shows that people who do not forgive others are not healthy and unsuccessful. It doesn’t matter how much money you have, how many trophies and shield you have obtained, how many degrees you have. Unless and until you start to forgive others you are a failure in life. You are doing a great disadvantage to your self. You are an enemy of yourself. It doesn’t matter who you are you have to forgive in order to be successful.

Before you start blaming any one check what you can be blamed for first, before you start hating check if you are not worth to be hated as well. Before you hold anything against others check if you too wouldn’t want to unforgiven. Before you do anything to anyone ask if you would be happy receiving such a treatment. You need to forgive that somebody my friend. I know they pained so much but you did that to somebody else or can do worse one day. Be forgiving, forgive, forgive, forgive, and forgive. It doesn’t matter what you went through, it doesn’t matter how painful it was you have to let that go and forgive.

Jesus when a lady caught in act of adultery ready to be stoned was brought to him; He just taught the crowd a forgiving lesson. The crowd was happy to kill the sinner, fuming and jubilating that she deserved to die. True the law qualified her to die. Jesus in His mighty wisdom knelt down and asked them that anyone who was not guilt of any sin should start to throw a stone at her. He looked down and started writing on the ground. In no time the crowd vanished like mist. He was just left with the lady alone. They all were sinners and in other words deserved to die as well. Just stop for a while and remember people you don’t want to talk to, see, hear about or meet. Think of whether you too are worth to be seen, talked too, and met with all you do. Are you perfect? Don’t you wrong others and regret why you did it? So why are you still holding some wrongs someone did five years ago? You have to be serious my friend. Forgive them right Now.

If God would act as you do you will be dead by now. The reason for many unanswered prayers is unforgiveness. If you don’t forgive others whatever you do is meaningless before God. You have to forgive my friend if you want all to be well with you now and in future. Don’t say it’s hard, you just don’t want. How many hard things have done to date? Forgive my friend. God will not forgive you unless you have forgiven others. Your sins since the day you chose and vowed never to forgive that person are still an eyesore, menace and disgrace before God. You are the blockade to your own breakthroughs. You are to blame. Forgive and progress. Forgive and be forgiven.
