As An Eagle Stirreth Her Nest

As an eagle stirreth up her nest Deut 32:9-14

We are preparing ourselves (The Lord is Preparing us) for a better day

A Day when things will be new (Isaiah 40:31)

1. The Lord has given us a comfortable nest.

We think we have it bad. Think of our forefathers.

God has blessed us in so many ways and made us comfortable

2. As our life continues, the nest is slowly made more uncomfortable

As the softness of life is taken away

The unpredictable life here on this earth

3. Yet the Lord Himself is still “fluttering over” you and I

Because He loves us and is teaching us to fly

4. As we get uncomfortable and try to climb out…

We make attempts in this life to be like God, to reach the heavenly heights

To receive a greater blessing

We begin our plunge toward our own demise (when I try to do good evil is always present)

5. And when it seems like we are about to reach bottom, The Lord “bears us up”

And we try again and again, only to find the enemy waiting

6. But one of these days…We will learn to fly

“We will mount up with wings as an eagle”
