Summary: A weekly series to help believers engage with loved ones, friends and neighbors who are dropout believers to restore them to the church - the Body of Christ.

Arrows of Truth # 11 - What is the 3rd step of the Hunters strategy (part b)?

The 3rd step of the Hunters strategy is to “pursue”; ie. to begin to develop a focused relationship of restoration with the dropout believer - but only after the Lord has affirmed to us His desire for our pursuit of this particular individual.

Last week we introduced three elements of this process:

a) Conversations

b) Visits

c) Correspondence (emails, text, social media, cards)

This week, let's consider visits. A personal home visit is a powerful statement of love and interest. Be open to the possibility of a visit as you get to know the person. Their home or yours. The impact this has is difficult to communicate in words. "How come this person wants to take time to spend some with me? Even my relatives don't do that."

Thoughts on visiting -

* Keep it short - You don't want to stay for hours and have them say, "Thank God they finally left!"

* Use prudence -Men visiting men or couples; women visiting women or couples; etc.

* Pray for them upon leaving.

TIP #11

Consider the 2 or 3 dropout believers, whom the Lord has shown you to engage with. Seek an opportunity to visit together at a natural time. Sometimes we just have game nites.
