Summary: Psalm 101:5 says, “Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart I will not endure.”

The Bible makes it clear that arrogance is a disease of the heart. The symptoms include words of contempt and mockery, but the root of the disease is spiritual.

Psalm 101:5 says, “Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart I will not endure.”

People who are arrogant are dwelling in pride, toxic in nature, wise in their own eyes and their foolish hearts were darkened and they are unrepentant.

Arrogant people see no need to admit wrong, and they are selfish, comfortable in their evil attitudes, and only concerned about themselves. God always punishes the arrogant person which says in Proverbs 16:5, “Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished.

2 Timothy 3:1–5 says, “But understand this, that in the last days, there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy…lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness but denying its power. Avoid such people.”

A man to be hard-hearted, arrogant towards their wife, family, and children reveals a hard-heartedness toward God and the problem isn’t marital but spiritual.

Any man who is arrogant is very selfish, and controlling, thinks that he is above everyone, he is unteachable, inflexible, irritated at all times, impatient, unforgiving, violent, angry, biblically, and spiritually ignorant. They Would Rather Be Popular Than Biblical, they would rather look for the approval of man than receive the approval of God.

A toxic arrogant man doesn’t care about accountability, and responsibility and they deflect, neglect, unwillingness to listen, gaslight, and find every possible way to blame someone else for the things they did.

They are constantly bragging about their job, success, and wealth and they Lack Empathy and Compassion towards their family and others. Not only that, they roll their eyes in an aggression, intended to demean the other person in the conversation. Eye-rolling as a sign of contempt only became a way to signal their disapproval. These arrogant men Roll their eyes which is considered rude and disrespectful because it gives the impression that you are looking down on the person you are eye-rolling at.

The rolling of the eyes is a gesture that indicates disagreement, exasperation, mockery, frustration, anger, disbelief, or lack of interest. Some of these Arrogant men have arrogant Body Language as well, where they make No Eye Contact, refusing to make eye contact with the person who is speaking and looking away can come off as being dismissive. They claim and pretend to be Christian but spiritually they are lost souls in the Kingdom of God.

Some are busy destroying their fellow believers in Christ with their loose and untamed tongues by their gossip or by assassinating the character of fellow believers in a negative way. The true attitude of a true Christian is to be loving towards his own family first, others and they show others Christ-like agape love, be gentle with others, and are not harsh or rude to people for no reason due to the gentle and quiet spirit of humility (1 Peter 3:4). They are Holy and blameless, imitating Christ, seeking Christ First, Truly Repenting Of their Sins, forgiving towards others, walking with the fruits of spirit such as genuine true love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
