I. EXORDIUM:

Are you for better or for worst?

To show that as co-worker with GOD, we need to stick with Him thru thick and thin.

Aristarchus, a Macedonian from Thessalonica, was also with us. We left on a ship whose home port was Adramyttium on the northwest coast of the province of Asia; it was scheduled to make several stops at ports along the coast of the province.

G. Key verses: Acts 1:8, Acts 2:42-47

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. He's a Macedonian from Thessalonica

"Aristarchus, a Macedonian from Thessalonica, was also with us."

Aristarchus was with Dr. Luke, Apostle Paul, Gaius, and other prominent man and woman of GOD. He is like wed to Apostle Paul being his companion, it's for better, for worst relationship.

Acts 27:2 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Aristarchus, a Macedonian from Thessalonica, was also with us. We left on a ship whose home port was Adramyttium on the northwest coast of the province of Asia; it was scheduled to make several stops at ports along the coast of the province.

1. Paul's fellow prisoner - Aristarchus never argued with the prison warden that he's just a traveling companion but went silently to prison together with other apostles.

Colossians 4:10 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Aristarchus, who is in prison with me, sends you his greetings, and so does Mark, Barnabas’s cousin. As you were instructed before, make Mark welcome if he comes your way.

2. Paul's traveling companion

Acts 19:29 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Soon the whole city was filled with confusion. Everyone rushed to the amphitheater, dragging along Gaius and Aristarchus, who were Paul’s traveling companions from Macedonia.

B. We are GOD's fellow worker

Whether Paul or Apollos, together with them, we are GOD's workers, fellow workers on GOD's building. We need to be good workers working for the LORD JESUS CHRIST not to men. The Word of GOD is useful to train and teach us as co-worker with GOD.

1 Corinthians 3:9 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.

2 Timothy 2:15 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

IX. CONCLUSION:

Consider working alongside GOD a great privelege, no words can describe it. We are like wed to FATHER GOD, for better, for worst relationship with Him.
