Are You Pentecostal?

Summary: Do you really comprehend what it means to be "Spirit-Filled?"
For many in the Body of Christ a “Pentecostal” is someone that likes lively praise and worship, or someone that speaks in tongues all the time, or a person that speaks of themselves being “holy and sanctified”, and of course there is the person that rolls on the floor and blows bubbles. Whether joking or serious that is the definition by outsiders or even practitioners of what a Pentecostal is. My definition of a Pentecostal is based on more concrete and Bible based criteria.
1. A Pentecostal is person that is not only Spirit-Filled but Spirit CONTROLLED. (Acts 1:8) said we would receive POWER after the Holy Spirit comes into the Believers life, power for WHAT? Power to be an effective witness, power to lay hands on sick people, power to cast out devils in Jesus name, power to LOVE the unlovable, and power to preach the UNCOMPROMISING Word of GOD!
2. A Pentecostal is Spirit-led! Like Phillip the Deacon he went to Samaria a Place that NO ONE else wanted to go, and he started a revival by preaching JESUS and casting out devils! Philip is an example of a believer that but the leading of The Holy Spirit above his own desires (See Stephen too).
3. A Pentecostal realizes that the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are NOT to be locked up in some building on one day a week (see Philip), They are not for SHOW….They are for WORK!!!
4. A Pentecostal realizes that the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to LIFT JESUS, we are to exalt the Lamb NOT The DOVE, The Holy Spirit was given to ALL Believers so we can promote Jesus the way John The Baptist did in the wilderness.
