Summary: When the physical body gets hungry you feed it, but what about your spiritual body?

I Samuel 3:1 And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.

The word was precious in those days; there was no open vision

The people hungered for the word of the Lord!

The word of the Lord needs to become precious again, in these days

Until the word of the Lord becomes precious, we will be powerless

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

Until we get hungry for God’s word we will not see a spiritual revival

Until we learn to spend as much time in prayer as we do in worldly things, we will live powerless life’s

When you hunger for something, nothing else will satisfy

We are being satisfied with crumbs and I want the manna

Nehemiah 8:1-3 And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel.

And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.

And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.

We are “clock” Christian---- Fix me in an hour or less

If we were as dedicated to our service to God as we were our jobs what would happen?

If we paid as much attention to our Bibles as we do our cell phones what would change?
