Summary: People are dying of thirst. Are you flowing or is there a dam?

John 7:37-39

37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

39(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) KJV

The world is dying of thirst and seeking to quench the thirst in all the wrongs ways. In various ways they are killing themselves with cyanide and Kool-Aid as real as that in Jonestown. Many have just given up and are dying of the thirst.

They need a strong flowing river to drink from and Christ said that we who believe on Him would have that river flowing out of us. Nuclear fission causes destruction, but when the Word and the Spirit fuse within us it create a river that flows out of us. It is not an Artesian well for that well must be drilled by man before it flows profusely. The river of living water bursts the dams of our flesh, fears, doubts and insecurities because its source is God. So why is the world still so thirsty? It is because we have not been allowing the fusion of the Living Word and Written Word to create the fission that will create the pressure in our souls that will bring about breaking down of the flesh to allow the bursting forth of that river to quench their thirst. May that change today!
