Are Our Lives A Testimony Of What God Has Done For Us?

Or, we could title this... What Are the Five Arts of Grace?

Our Christian lives are a declaration of how God has helped us, his continuing assistance from our adolescence to our advanced age. How are we showing the world what we are experiencing every day?

The psalmist was elderly, and he considered his life to be as a declaration of all that God had accomplished for him (71:9,18). Recalling God's lifetime of blessings will assist us with seeing the consistency of his effortless grace, to confide in him for the future, and to impart to others the advantages of following him.

David said that God was his rock and his fortress. David called for God’s deliverance. He needed God to shut down the individuals who were treacherously creating problems. David said that God was like a rock that cannot be penetrated, a fortress where the enemy cannot go, a buckler (shield) that is between us and that which can cause harm to us, a horn of salvation, which is the power and might of God, and a high tower which puts us above our enemies (Psalm 18:2).

God's caring concern does not start on the day that we are born and finish on the day that we die. However, it goes to back to those days prior to our birth and continues ahead along the ceaseless way of time everlasting. Our main sure assistance comes from a God whose concern for us surpasses our natural existence. When confronted with such wonderful love, why would anybody be able to dismiss it?

God is continually helping us. Anything that we prevail in, he is the reason for it. He truly deserves our thanks and our praise. To assume all of the acknowledgment for our prosperity is untrustworthy and denies God of the greatness that is because of him (Psalm 22:9-11).

Giving God honor is not restricted to youngsters who appear to have limitless strength and energy. Indeed, even in advanced age, committed believers can deliver spiritual fruit. We should search out an older Christian relative or companion to educate us regarding their encounters with the Lord and challenge us to a higher spiritual development (Psalm 92:14).

As our physical strength diminishes, we need God considerably more, and we understand that he is as yet our steady assistance. We should never surrender yet continue to anticipate his assistance regardless of how extreme our restrictions. Trusting in him assists us with continuing to go on, and to continue to serve him.

We will never be so old that we cannot serve God, nor will we ever be too old to even think about stopping our prayers. Albeit our actual age might prevent us from performing specific activities, it need not end our longing to tell others (particularly youngsters) all that we have seen God do in the numerous years that we have lived.

Assuming that we want the people in the future to be familiar with God's marvels and miracles, then, we should instruct them to our children and other young people. If we want our youngsters to serve the Lord, then they should catch wind of him from us. It is not sufficient to depend solely on the congregation or those with potentially more Biblical knowledge to give all of their Christian training. We must build up the teachings of Scripture in the home.

The unborn future generations are relying upon our loyalty and faithfulness today. As we present the Lord to our youngsters, they will in turn instruct their children and so forth. If we neglect to enlighten the future church leaders concerning the Lord, we might be breaking the chain of God's impact in the ages to come. We should see our young people and every one of the youngsters that we meet as possible leaders for the future in the body of Christ. If we are devoted in any open doors today, we likely could be influencing what is to come. (Psalm 22:31).
