APOSTOLIC FULFILLMENT
Isaiah 26:3 - You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
The world today is looking for peace. But peace can only come through Jesus.
God wants His children to live in peace in a troubled world. We do not have to partake of the troubles that their world faces. It is possible to enjoy a heavenly environment of earth which will bring blessings and stability. We do not have to live as the world lives. We can live in an apostolic environment whereby we live in a heavenly realm on earth which does not reflect the troubles of the world.
The world is full of troubles and stress full of unknown dangers. But we do not have to participate in those negative things and can live above these issues. When you have an apostolic heart, your mind is not distracted by the circumstances around you. It is constantly fixed on God through relationship which ensures perfect peace within the storm.
God wants your thoughts and He wants your heart. Paul discovered this secret when he learned to ‘pray without ceasing”. That means his entire focus was on Jesus at all times. It did not matter if he was in prison, or suffering hunger or persecution. He never lost his hope because his mind was in a different place to his body. His mind was fixed on heaven and he could sing hymns while he was in chains and being beaten.
We can rejoice in every situation when our hearts and minds are fixed on God and He will give you a place of peace that money cannot buy.
This is the peace that the world is looking for but they cannot find it because they do not have Jesus. In the last days, politicians are going to seek peace treaties, but true peace can on ly come through the Prince of Peace, Jesus.
We can access the secrets of God and live in that environment of peace because our hearts are connected with God through His Spirit.
Christians should be the greatest example of God’s blessings, peace, and joy. Christians should not have so all these issues. When we seek God and His ways, we have every good things imaginable available to us. Too many Christians today are living far below the potential that God has purposed for them.
The thing you seek is the thing that will control you. If you seek after money it will control you, but if you seek after God He will control you by His spirit. How does God control you by His spirit? He speaks to you as a loving father.
Solomon is probably one of the only Godly leaders that lived in an environment of peace. He displayed an apostolic understanding of God when he asked God to give him wisdom to fulfill his divine appointment. He understood that to be God’s representative on earth, he had to seek God’s wisdom. An apostolic heart is one that is totally sold out to the Lord which caused him to benefit personally as well as the entire nation of Israel. It was only during that reign of Solomon that Israel ha d peace.
Because they had peace, they did not have to spend time and energy on wars and rather concentrated on prospering in business with other nations.
When you are fighting wars and battles, you will not have time to enjoy the full benefits God has for you.
During Solomon’s reign, the nation began to prosper with gold and silver and every imaginable treasure. If God can pour those blessings upon Solomon, He can pour it upon your household and it can affect your nation.
The bible also tells us that kings and queens from surrounding nations travelled long distances to see for themselves, the peace and prosperity that Solomon enjoyed. There are people that will come and will seek you out. You do not really have to look for people, people will come to you and say “why are you so blessed” and that will be a wonderful time for you to give your testimony.
I am sure when people came to Solomon and asked him why he was so blessed, he was able to tell them about a true and living God.
Through our lifestyle, we can give glory to the King. It is called an atmosphere of peace or an apostolic atmosphere
Joshua 1:8 - This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Here is a secret that God gave to Joshua so many years ago in the midst of wars and conflict while he was taking territory. In the midst of the battle God wants you to experience peace and victory. God knew that Joshua would face formidable enemies and gave him the secret to success which was to meditate on the Word of God day and night.
