Plan for: Thanksgiving | Advent | Christmas
Despite our brokenness due to sin, God has the power to restore us and make us new again. He is still working in our lives, reshaping and remolding us into His image.
Today we're gonna chat about how God did some pretty rad stuff back in the day and guess what? He's still doing it now. We can totally experience God today.
You know when you're shredding at the skate park and your board snaps? It's a total bummer, right? But then you take it to a pro who knows how to fix it and suddenly, it's like brand new. That's what God does with us.
That's what God does with us.
We're all spiritually messed up because of sin. Sin is like a giant wall between us and God. Romans 3:23 says that everyone has messed up. We need the good news of Jesus to fix us and make us new.
Only God has the power to fix us. He can reshape and remake us. Even if we've hardened our hearts or messed up big time, God can still fix us. He's still in the restoration business!
You know how Play-doh gets hard and crumbly if you leave it out? Our hearts can get like that when we sin. But God can still fix us and make us soft again.
Jesus showed love and fixed the woman who was caught doing something really wrong. He fixed Peter after he totally denied knowing Him. God can fix us no matter what we've done or how messed up we are.
God wants to remake and fix us. He's like the ultimate skateboard repair guy who can shape our lives into something awesome. He wants to fix you today.
God can take our messed up lives and make them awesome. Just like the epic reveal when your skateboard is fixed, we can be amazed at what God has done in our lives. Let's let God fix us and show the world how powerful He is.
This week, think about something in your life that's broken. It could be a relationship, a habit, or even a skateboard. Ask God to help you fix it.
Let's close in prayer: God, thanks for being in the business of fixing things. Help us to trust you with our broken stuff and let you make it awesome again. Amen.
1. In what ways do you feel broken or hardened?

4. How can you allow God to restore you in your daily life?
5. Share a time when you've seen God restore something broken in your life or someone else's.
