ALL THINGS WORKETH TOGETHER FOR GOOD
Romans 8:28
*And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.*
Our God is a good God all the time. Sometimes, He allows us pass through some tests in order for his good plans and purpose for us to come to materialization in our lives.
God says in his word in
Isaiah 43:2
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
His promises are ye and Amen. He gave these assurances and then sealed it in
Isaiah 43:3-5 For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west.
Sometimes, it may appear as if a child of God is being marginalized, cheated, and pushed aside in such a painful and unimaginable way, but God's word remains infallible when he says in 1Peter 1:7
Pure gold put in the fire comes out of it proved pure; genuine faith put through this suffering comes out proved genuine. When Jesus wraps this all up, it's your faith, not your gold, that God will have on display as evidence of his victory.
God is always at work in the life of a believer according to his Word in
Philippians 2:13
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
The Bible is full of so many examples to prove that all things worketh together for good for God's children.
Joseph said in Genesis 50:18-20
Genesis 50:18-20 And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants.
And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
The journey to the position of the prime minister of Egypt for Joseph looked rough and tough for him, but for his brethren, his very household enemies, it was victory for them. To Portiphars wife, it was celebration but for Joesph it was a journey unto fame and stardom a journey unto destiny fulfilment.
For children of God, the enemy will always be a ladder with which they will use to clime to fulfilment of destiny.
God's words says
James 1:2
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Job, was badly afflicted by the devil to the point that even the wife lost hope in God when she said to Job in Job 2:9 Are you still maintaining your integrity, curse God and die. Despite the afflictions, job who remained focused in Christ Jesus had this testimony:
Job 42:12
So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
Mordecai was a righteous man who worked righteously but the enemy tormented him so much so that he was made a gate man to bow down before every one that comes to the palace of a busy king. Hear what happened afterwords when God arose for him;
Esther 6:1-10 On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.
And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.
And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king's servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.
And the king said, Who is in the court? Now Haman was come into the outward court of the king's house, to speak unto the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him.
And the king's servants said unto him, Behold, Haman standeth in the court. And the king said, Let him come in.
So Haman came in. And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour? Now Haman thought in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do honour more than to myself?
