Plan for: Thanksgiving | Advent | Christmas
This sermon's main point is to explore and understand the unlimited power of God, the hope in Christ's promises, and the importance of living in faith and trust, as encapsulated in Mark 10:27.
Good morning, family. We're diving into God's Word this morning, exploring a vital passage in the Gospel of Mark that cuts right to the heart of our faith. "Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God'" (Mark 10:27). Imagine that, folks – all things possible with God!
It's a truth that's both freeing and comforting. A truth that the wise theologian and author, A.W. Tozer, once framed so beautifully when he said, "The sovereign God wants to be loved for Himself and honored for Himself, but that is only part of what He wants. The other part is that He wants us to know that when we have Him we have everything - we have all the rest."
Let's pray. Heavenly Father, as we step into Your Word today, remind us of Your unlimited power, Your promises through Christ, and Your call for us to live in faith and trust. Open our hearts and minds to fully grasp these truths. In Jesus' Name, amen.
