Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

The true secret of Ministry is “Spiritual Power”.

It is not the genius of man. OR man’s intellect. OR man’s energy.

BUT SIMPLY THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD

Numbers 11 :1 Now when the people complained, it displeased the Lord; for the Lord heard it, and His anger was aroused. So the fire of the Lord burned among them, and consumed some in the outskirts of the camp.

The people of God were complaining about how hard it was to be in the desert.

They wanted the comforts of Egypt

In numbers 11:4-5 V 4 Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: "Who will give us meat to eat? 5 We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic;

They kept looking back on the past and not having faith for the future.

They wanted to lean on the past for their refuge.

The wells of their hearts did not spring forth with the faith of living waters.

Their faith was not rooted in the heart of God where all faith springs forth.

Could it be that the God, the creator of all things known to us and beyond, was not ABLE TO provide for them, flesh?

Flesh is a type of the world too. Is not Sin referred to as flesh?

We need to stop looking to the world as the norm and a place to relax and be part of.

Stop living worldly ways and thinking worldly thoughts.

Or to just get off the fence..

Zechariah 4:6 ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts

IT IS THE POWER OF GOD THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT KEEPS US.

IT WILL SUSTAIN YOUR HEART AND GIVE CONSTANT FRESHNESS TO YOUR MINISTRY.

A MINISTRY WHICH FLOWS UPON THE DEPENDENCE OF THE HOLY GHOST CAN NEVER BECOME BARREN OR WEAK

IF A MAN IS DRAWING UPON HIS OWN RESOURCES HE SOON WILL BECOME DRY.

IF IT THE HOLY GHOST IS NOT THE SPRING AND POWER OF HIS MINISTRY SOONER OR LATER IT WILL LOSE ITS FRESHNESS AND BECOME INEFFECTIVE

HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO THOSE WHO MINISTER WHETHER IN THE STREETS OR IN THE CHURCH, THAT THEY SHOULD LEAN CONTINUALLY AND EXCLUSIVELY ON THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD

HE Knows what your soul needs and can supply it.

HE Can be trusted WITH YOUR LIFE AND YOUR FUTURE.

HE Brings forth the divine freshness and fullness of the treasures of God

Moreover, apply them to your life in heavenly power to the soul’s present need.

A man can do the same ministry each week becoming bored if he is not doing it in the spirit.

His first question is ALWAYS why am I doing this?

He may feel a loss for something new.

IT IS ONE THING TO DISAPPEAR OR RUN FROM THE WEIGHT OF RESPONSIBILITY AND CARE… GOD HAS PLACE UPON US.

IT IS QUITE ANOTHER THING TO CARRY ONE’S SELF WITH GRACE AND GENUINE HUMILITY TOWARD THOSE WHO ARE CALLED TO SHARE THAT WEIGHT of responsibility WITH US.

God gives you THE help YOU NEED. THE SPIRIT OF GOD

You are never alone in your labor if you labor in the Spirit of God.

Know HIM so YOU may be blessed.

Then we have to have the proper mind of why we are here each week.

It does not mater if I preach to one or one thousand.

It is about getting the word into a man’s heart... SEEING HIS LIFE CHANGE

The main reason I do this week in and week out is for the promise that souls will be saved and not burn in HELL.

THAT THEY WILL ACCEPT JESUS AS THEIR PERSONAL SAVIOR.

It does not matter what I think each service…. it is the Spirit of God that imparts the word to US.

I am blessed just to be able to deliver it to ALL OF YOU .

What matters is what God thinks and are all MY springs coming forth from his heart.

We want something tangible, something we can see and put our finger on.

We find it hard to endure as seeing HIM who is invisible.

We stumble and fall when the things we think hold up our lives bend like broken reeds on a beach We must stop leaning on ourselves

We need to learn to live with an undivided heart and unshaken confidence in the Living GOD.

WE MUST BE SOLD OUT for THE KINGDOME OF GOD AND TO THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD
