Acts 26: 18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

People today are spiritual blind it keeps us from doing our best for the Lord .

We can’t see the wrong and harm it does to sinners and Christians both.

(1) We need to see the Holiness of God.

Psalms 30: 4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Psalms 97: 11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

12 Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Our sovereignty of the eternal Godhead.

Psalms 47: 7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

The sacred purity of obsolute righteousness.

The sacrifice of a sinless Saviour.

(2) Our helplessness of man.

Romans 5: 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Depraved our entire nature corrupt.

Dead in trespassing and sin.

Deceived, darkened and doomed.

(3) The horror of sin.

Romans 6: 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Servants of the devil

Slaves to the demands of sin.

Sentence of sin is death.

(4) Hopelessness of the lost.

Ephesians 2: 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Unable to self change.

Unaware of the danger.

Unbelief keeps us in this condition.

(5) Hell for the sinner.

Revelation 20: 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Eternal separation

No more comfort

Nothing but sinners cursing no peace ever.

(6) Heaven for the saved.

Revelation 21: 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Eternal with Christ no separation

Eternal splendor no more sorrow

Saints forever no more sin pain are death

(7) The help of the Saviour.

Luke 19: 10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Gift of his son

God’s love for you and i.

Grace and goodness sins gone.

Salvation is yours
