Their Prosperity - 1 Blessed - They are Saved
Their Purity - are the undefiled in the way - They are Separated
Their Pathway - who walk in the law of the Lord - are Saturated
Their Pursuit - They are Subjugated
Their Light - 2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,
Their Labour - and that seek him
Their Longing - with the whole heart.
2. The Saint's Holiness - 3-6
Their Walk - 3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
Their Watch - 4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently
Their Duty - 4 Thou hast commanded us
Their Devotion - to keep thy precepts
Their Diligence - diligently
Their Desire - 5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
Their Ways Are -
Distinctive Ways - 5 O that my ways
Directed Ways - were directed
Disciplined Ways - to keep thy statutes!
Their Will - 6 Then shall I not be ashamed,
when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
Paul's Preparation - 2 Timothy 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered,
Paul's Premonition - and the time of my departure is at hand.
Paul's Proclamation -
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Paul's Preservation - 8 henceforth
Paul's Presentation - there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
3. The Saint's Humbleness - 7-8
Their Demonstration - 7 I will praise thee
Their Disposition - with uprightness of heart,
Their Dedication - when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
Their Determination - 8 I will keep thy statutes:
Their Destitution - O forsake me not utterly.
Total Dependence on -
His Person - John 15:5 I am the vine,
His Protection - ye are the branches:
His Provision - He that abideth in me,
His Position - and I in him,
His Production - the same bringeth forth much fruit:
His Propulsion - for without me ye can do nothing.
